An Otherworldly Adventure
November 4-12, 2027
Ready for an extraordinary adventure? Come step into the wild heart of Bolivia, high in the Andes Mountains, with its fascinating culture, Inca legends, and the world’s most mythic landscapes. Together, we’ll wander ancient streets and colorful markets, climb Inca steps to the temples of Sun Island, visit the Cholitas community and its “wrestling women,” tour Isla del Sol and the surreal Moon Valley, see flamingos fill lagoons, and experience the endless white silence of Uyuni.
Our journey begins in La Paz, a capital city bursting with energy. With the world’s highest airport, the city seems to float between the mountains and sky. We’ll dive into Bolivia’s soul through its flavors and traditions.
From here, we’ll cruise over the legendary waters of Lake Titicaca, on the border with Peru, to experience the world’s highest navigable lake, whose deep-blue waters are out of this world.
Breathtaking Salar de Uyuni holds the world’s largest salt flats—4,100 square miles that dazzle with Technicolor. Imagine visiting one of the most remote, highest, and least populated areas on Earth. Each day brings surprises.
The highlight is our stay at the magical Palace of Salt Hotel, built entirely of salt, including the furniture. You’ll love the Bolivian cuisine here, as well as the spa, pool, new theme park, and special telescopes for stargazing each night. Tripadvisor gives it five stars.
With the seasons reversed and perfectly cool temperatures, November is a great time to visit for the famous mirror effect, when thin layers of water remain on the salt crust, creating spectacular reflective landscapes where you can take your best selfie ever!
