Roscommon – Kilronan Castle 

Another hearty Irish breakfast kicks off the day. First stop: The Doolin Ferry Co., for an unforgettable Cliffs of Moher boat cruise. Towering 700 feet above the Atlantic, these legendary cliffs have inspired artists and writers for generations and are a haven for seabirds. Later, continue to Ennis and check in at the Old Ground Hotel. Ennis is a charming town that blends history, music, and local flavor—explore historic sites like Quin Abbey and Ennis Friary, discover local heritage at the Clare Museum, or catch traditional Irish music at Glor. Don’t miss the Ennis Farmer’s Market and the unique local shops. Dinner and your evening are at your own pace.

Enjoy a full Irish Breakfast this morning. Today we head south to Killarney making a stop to experience the indulgent tradition of Mrs. White’s Afternoon Tea at Dromoland Castle, a five star property and 16th-century castle. Enjoy a selection of finger sandwiches, warm scones with clotted cream and homemade jams, delicate pastries, and their signature tea brack, all served with fine loose-leaf teas in sparkling silver tea pots. Later we will make our way to Blarney Castle & Gardens. Built nearly 600 years ago by one of Ireland’s greatest chieftans, Cormac MacCarthy. Steeped in history, myth and mystery, it has become a world landmark and one of Ireland’s greatest treasures. The medieval stronghold which stands today is in fact the third castle to have been erected on this site. Perhaps kiss the infamous Blarney Stone and have eloquence bestowed upon you! After, we will continue onto our hotel for the night at the Imperial Hotel in Cork. Cork is recognized for its vibrant food scene, particularly its English Market and its beautiful coastline, including the start of the Wild Atlantic Way. It’s also known for its rich history including the legacy of the Titanic and the Blarney Stone. Dinner and the rest of the evening will be on your own.

After breakfast, head back toward Dublin. Along the way, pause for photos at the Rock of Cashel—one of Ireland's most striking historical sites, once a seat of kings and later a center of ecclesiastical power. The journey continues with a stop at Newbridge Silverware for a behind-the-scenes look at Irish craftsmanship, from time-honored cutlery-making traditions to cutting-edge jewelry design. Arrive in Dublin and check in at Academy Plaza. The city buzzes with historic buildings, lively pubs, and iconic spots like the Guinness Storehouse. Dinner and your evening are on your own—explore the capital at your own pace.

Edinburgh is simply a feast for the senses! The wealth of sites ranges from Holyrood Palace to the botanical garden, Prince Street to the Royal Mile. Overlooking all is majestic Edinburgh Castle. Be there at sunset to see the city below bathed in a warm, orange glow. Simply stunning.  Wander the streets, the smell of fish and chips left by, followed up with a smooth whiskey. A kilt-wearing busker often plays bagpipes on Waverly Bridge.   Traditional music can be heard from the Old Town pubs.

City tour - Scotland’s capital is a city of contrasts—medieval Old Town, elegant Georgian New Town, and dramatic sights like Edinburgh Castle, Arthur’s Seat, and Calton Hill. After arrival, enjoy a Guided Tour of the city’s highlights.

World Famous Underground Ghost Tour

At street level, Edinburgh is a pretty city, but the subterranean tunnels below tell an entirely different story of its grim past.  This ghost tour is spooky fun!   Let one of Edinburgh’s most infamous sons or daughters lead you around the dark side of Edinburgh’s Old Town and discover the grim living conditions of this city throughout the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.  Visit Greyfriars Kirkyard, inside this decidedly sinister 450-year-old cemetery, you will hear of its famously loyal dog, petrifying poltergeists, as well as the notorious body snatchers and serial killers, Burk and Hare.  Lastly, we’ll head to the underground, a section of a former 17th-century close absorbed into South Bridge when it was constructed. Tonight, we will stay at our hotel, Malmaison Edinburgh, for the next two nights.  Dinner and the rest of the night will be on your own.

In April, choices are endless in this vibrant city. We know some of you may want to extend on your own. Our hotel is near most major sites. Explore Prince Street Gardens, Royal Yacht Britannia, cobbled Circus Lane, the Queen's residence, National Gallery, and dozens of fabulous museums. Shop the boutiques and Harry Potter stores along the Royal Mile.

In the evening, gather to toast each other farewell from a wonderful journey and a delicious Scottish dinner at a local restaurant.
